Our Beliefs

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God who took on human form. That Jesus is the Word made flesh, being fully God and fully man. Jesus is the Messiah promised throughout the Old Testament, conceived through the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin.
Jesus lived a perfect and sinless life, was crucified, died on the cross, and then rose again bodily on the third day from the dead. Jesus ascended to heaven and now sits at the right hand of God the Father, as our High Priest. We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ to this earth and that His return will be in glory and power.

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the divine and inspired Word of God and the ultimate authority, and is complete in all respects.
We believe the Holy Scriptures are the complete revelation of God’s will concerning man’s salvation through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe it communicates God’s nature and character, God’s wisdom and His purpose, not only in matters of doctrine, but also speaks into the affairs of our every day lives.

The Church

We believe that the church is a gathering of people who consistently assemble to worship the Lord Jesus Christ, to fellowship, to pray and devote themselves to Jesus and the apostle’s teachings.
We believe in the unity of all true believers as members of the universal body of Christ regardless of denominational affiliation. That the unity of the church is found in our mutual faith in and love for Jesus Christ.
We believe that it’s in gathering like this that people find connection with others in healthy relationships which enrich lives and the life of the church, bringing God’s purpose and freedom.
We believe God provides leadership and accountability through the five fold ministry gifts which includes the office of pastor.

Communion

We believe that Christians should regularly share bread and wine, which are symbols of the body and blood of Jesus Christ, to remember the death, burial & resurrection of Jesus Christ until His return to earth.

Prosperity

We believe Jesus Christ’s redemptive work on the cross not only dealt with sin and sicknesses, but also poverty and lack. That Jesus Christ became poor so that we could be made rich.
We believe prosperity and abundance is provided to all humanity by God’s grace in the redemptive work of Christ and is accessed by faith in that work.
We believe prosperity is where your soul prospers, not only in health, in family, in relationships, in your well being, but also includes your money and the financial areas of our lives.
We believe in seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added.

God

We believe in one true and living God, eternally existing and revealed to us as the Father, the Creator of all things; the Son, Jesus Christ, God Incarnate, and the Holy Spirit. We believe God has clearly made His will known through Jesus Christ and through His Word.

We believe God has given dominion of the earth to all mankind and He is not enforcing His will on everything that happens on this earth.

Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is one of the three eternal persons of the Godhead and was sent into the world to be our comforter.

We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit:-

By the inward witness of salvation to the believer. By the daily guidance and the growth of Christ-like character.

By the baptism of the Holy Spirit, an experience distinct from and following the new birth, evidenced initially by speaking with other tongues and subsequently by the manifestation of spiritual power in public testimony and service.

By the manifestation of the supernatural gifts of the Spirit as written in 1 Corinthians 12:8-10.

Humanity

We believe that although God made Adam and Eve sinless and perfect, they sinned when they were tempted by Satan in the garden, and that by this, sin and death entered the world and thereby alienated mankind from God.

We believe that it is only through the complete work of Jesus Christ on the cross that there is reconciliation to God for any person. We believe that mankind is saved solely through faith in God’s grace as displayed in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Water Baptism

We believe that being baptised in water is the outward expression of faith after the person has accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.

We believe water baptism is a public declaration that a believer has died with Christ and risen with Christ to walk a life of holiness and love.

Healing

We believe that Jesus Christ’s redemptive work on the cross not only redeemed us from sin, but also all sickness and disease.

We believe that Jesus carried our sicknesses and diseases on the cross, and that by His stripes we are healed. God wants us well and Jesus paid the price for our healing and we access it through faith in Him.

Jesus Christ’s Return

We believe that Jesus Christ is coming again to gather all His saints to Himself. Those who have not accepted His redemptive work on their behalf will suffer eternal separation from the Godhead.

We believe that following His return Jesus Christ will rule and reign for one thousand years on the earth and after this there will be a new heaven and a new earth.
